Hello, my name is Michael Johnson a.k.a. Al Kaytraz.  I got hooked on entertaining when I performed in front of my first audience in the forth grade.  Since then I've had the opportunity to studied magic, escapes, and hypnotism.  I've been a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians.  I've worked both full time and part time as an entertainer.  And I always enjoy sharing my skills with others.

When I was nineteen I began performing as a full time professional - working for an agent that booked school assembly programs.  A typical week included three shows a day, five days a week, and usually a different school for each performance.  It was a fantastic experience that helped develop my art, allowed me to travel, and taught me that one doesn’t have to charge a fortune for a good show. 

Today my shows concentrate on hypnosis, although I still offer my services as a master escape artist as well.  During my performances, I work only with willing volunteers.  We have fun exploring the power of the human mind, and I enjoy demonstrating how easy (and safe) it is to enter the hypnotic state.  Additionally  I am certifed by the National Guild of Hypnotist, and I am trained to instruct others how to utilize self-hypnosis and hypnosis to improve their own lives.

I’m reminded of a quote by Doug Henning – ‘ The art of a Magician is to create wonder.  If we live with wonder in our lives, then our lives are full of joy.’  I look forward to the potential of entertaining at your next event and bringing a little wonder into your life.
